AIKEN, SC – MARY ANN POWLAS, 50, died Friday, September 24, 2021 at her residence along with her husband, John Fitzgerald Seward, Sr., her daughter, Erica Nicole Seward and her son, Jonathan Seward. Born in Orangeburg, SC, Mary Ann was a daughter of Charles D. and Kerry Huff Powlas. She lived in Aiken most of her life. Surviving are her parents, Charles and Kerry Powlas, a son, John Fitzgerald Seward, Jr.; daughter, Theresa Seward, all of Aiken; sisters, Jeanine Hopson, Wagener, Tina Bishop, Irmo, April Giaffis, Aiken; brother, Joshua Powlas, Crab Orchard, KY. A memorial service will be Saturday afternoon, October 2nd at 2 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
