Woodrow M. Lupton

AIKEN, SC – WOODROW “WOODY” LUPTON, 71, entered into rest Friday, December 24, 2021 at his home.

Woody was born in Little Washington, NC, a son of the late Woodrow and Ethel Lupton.  Woody and his wife, Brenda, traveled the country while he worked as a union electrician.  After having two sons, the decision was made to settle in Aiken in 1985.  Woody worked at the Savannah River Site until his retirement in 2019.  He was devoted to his family and helped out his sons with their construction company until his death.

Woody is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Lupton; sons, Jonathan Lupton (Andrea), Aaron Lupton (Kristina); brother, Steve Lupton (Elisa); grandson Asher and granddaughter Aleena; nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cathy Weber.

A Celebration of Woody’s Life will be held Thursday afternoon, December 30^th from 4 until 7 o’clock at Jonathan’s home, 3172 Verbena Dr., Aiken, SC 29803.  The eulogy will take place at 5:30 PM.
