Willie M. Harrelson

AIKEN, SC – WILLIE M. HARRELSON, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021, 10 days shy of her 97^th birthday.

     A native of Lincolnton, GA, Willie was a daughter of the late Franklin Luther and Hessie Freeman Cothran.  She was a retired hairdresser and ran a shop out of her home for many years.  She was a life member of VFW Post 5877 and American Legion Post 63 Ladies Auxiliaries, American Rifle Association and the SC Cosmetologist Association.

     Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Jean Wilkins, Aiken; her granddaughter, Robin Wilkins Allen (Bill), Windsor; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Allen, Amanda Allen Johnson (Brett) and Taylor Wilkins Gunnells; a great-great-grandson, Luke Johnson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Frank Aubrey Bunn and a granddaughter, Patricia Ann Wilkins.

      A graveside service will be Saturday afternoon, February 13^th at 1 o’clock in Southlawn Cemetery with The Rev. David Richardson officiating.

     The family would like to offer a special thanks to Marie “Joy” Black, Trinity Hospice and Day Break for all their compassionate care.

     In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Trinity Hospice.
