William Francis Lamprey

William Francis Lamprey, 66, of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on November 28, 2024.

 Bill was born in Gary, Indiana, in 1958 to Arthur S. and Dorothy T. Lamprey. He was their first son and the second of their four children. Bill graduated from Aiken High School in1976 before studying Criminal Justice at the University of South Carolina. Upon graduation, he went to work for SCE&G until his retirement. A lifetime Roman Catholic, he was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Church.

 Bill was a loving father, a beloved son and brother, and he will be dearly missed. Bill was a truly kind and generous soul and always had a funny story or joke to tell; this was his unique way of sharing his enthusiasm of life. He was preceded in death by his parents Art and Dot, and he is survived by his siblings Amy Lamprey, Richard Lamprey (Frankie), and Nancy Lamprey; his retriever-mix companions Buddy and Murray, and two adult children.
