William Larry Key, Jr.

NEW ELLENTON, SC – WILLIAM LARRY KEY, JR., 55, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Larry was the son of William L. “Billy” and Mildred Goss “Mickey” Key, Sr.  He was a graduate of Silver Bluff High School and worked for Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 150.  Larry formerly coached little league baseball and football with New Ellenton Youth Sports.  He was a member of Talatha Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife, Carrie Ann Key; parents, Billy and Mickey Key; daughters, Paige Key, Kelly Key; grandchildren, Oakley Key, Bentley Milford, Aislynn Key, Jacob Craven, Jr.; sister, Brook Byers (Bruce); nieces Jaiden, Skylar and Rylie Garrett; stepbrother, Bobby Rinder (Robin).

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, April 18th from 6 until 7 o'clock at Shellhouse - Rivers Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be held in the Talatha Baptist Church Cemetery.
