Vicky Susan Obrien

AIKEN, SC – VICKY SUSAN OBRIEN, 71, beloved wife of Arthur “Art” Amaral, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers following a brief illness.

A native of Los Angeles, CA, Vicky was a daughter of the late Virginia Lee Koontz and Vitale “Vedo” Andrew Rossi.  She lived most of her life in the Los Angeles area working in health care.  She retired as a nurse from the State of California Department of Corrections.  Vicky was the former owner of a plant nursery.  She was highly trained in marksmanship and was a Civil War reenactor.  She and Art moved to Aiken in 2019.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Art, include a daughter, Corrina Fisher Audler (Richard), Fresno, CA; stepsons, Jeffrey Amaral and Jay Amaral of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Ean Audler, Adriona Fisher-Escalera and Grace Amaral; a sister, Linda Voss, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Denise Wear Cerda (Chico), Atascadero, CA and Debi Pryor (Doug), Aiken.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Fisher; great-grandson, Enzo Moreno; brothers, Mike and Marty Rossi.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, October 30^th from 2 until 4 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be private.
