Truman Ray Coble, Jr.

Truman Ray Coble Jr. (“Rus”) of Aiken, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at the age of 80.

Born on September 24, 1945, Rus was a gentle giant born in PA and grew up in Elmhurst, IL where he attended York Community HS and graduated from Elmhurst College. He was a great salesman and worked his entire career in the Hardware Industry. He had a passion for Mustangs, Reading Books, Coins and Guns.

Rus is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; his children, Melynda Harrison (Henry) and Scott; and his 3 grandchildren, Anders, Finn, and Pacific. He is also survived by his siblings, Betsy Leach (Ray) and Steven Coble (Karla), 3 Nephews, Kurt Ladendorf, Brett Coble and Jeff Coble. 4 Grandniece’s and 3 Grandnephew’s.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman Ray Coble Sr. and Roberta Winifred Coble.
