THOMAS DUANE CLEMENS, 87, beloved husband of Marjorie Miller Clemens, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 in his home with his loving family by his side.

Born in Woodburn, OR,Thomas was a son of the late Wade and Catherine Littleton Clemens. Thomas proudly served as a pilot in the U.S. Air National Guard for 25 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1979. During this time he also had a distinguished career as a pilot based in Chicago with United Airlines for 33 years ending his career in 1997 as a captain flying the Boeing 777 to Europe.

In March of 2020, he and Marjorie relocated to Aiken, South Carolina, from living 20 years in Barrington and 20 years in Lake In TheHills, Illinois. Tom was a member of St. John’s Methodist Church in Aiken, and a social member of Woodside Country Club.

Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Marjorie; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristen Renee and Oakley Bell; his sister, Marlene Jordan Charles and two brothers, Charles Clemens and Gordon Clemens.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Donald, Steve, Harland and Gilbert Clemens.

The interment will be in Hermitage, PA at a later dateto be determined.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. John’s Methodist Church, P.O. Box 809, Aiken, SC 29802.
