Susan Adele Smith Dasse, 70, beloved wife of Douglas A. Dasse, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 in Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
A native of Northbrook, IL, Susan was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Marguerite Canty Smith. Sue worked her way up from a clerk in a small clothing store to an executive with numerous retail companies across the country. She loved the people she worked with and prided herself on training and developing them.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 44 years, Douglas, include her sister Shelly, nieces Ginny, Jodie (Drew) Douglas, Teri, and Alli (Adrian) Love, nephews Christopher (Sara) and Michael (Michelle).
A Celebration of Susan’s Life will be announced at a later date.
As an avid reader Sue would like, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Reading is Fundamental.
