Sharon Simpson Young

SHARON LEE SIMPSON YOUNG, 72, beloved wife of the late Richard Curtis Simpson, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in the comfort of her home.

A native of Washingtonville, NY, Sharon was a daughter of the late Robert Bromley and May Hall Brown. She spent most of her life in the Washingtonville and Middletown area of New York where she worked as a waitress. She moved to Aiken 3 years ago.

Surviving are her sons, James R. Simpson (Kathleen), Aiken, Richard R. Young and Daniel R. Young, both of New York; eight grandchildren, James R. Simpson, Jr., Ariel Simpson, Savannah Simpson, David Goodman, Danielle Young, Christopher Young, Alissa Dembek and Tyler Soto; her sister, Viola Meland (John ), Spring Hills, FL; four brothers, Glenn Beam, Syracuse, NY, Vincent Beam, Middletown, NY, Wayne Beam, Spring Hills, FL and Edward Beam, Goshen, NY.
