Ruth T. Golding

RUTH T. GOLDING, 73, beloved wife of Ronald A. Golding, passed away suddenly Friday, May 17, 2024 in her home.

A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Ruth was a daughter of the late Rufus B. and Erluth Johnson Turner.  She was a teacher’s aide and retired from Aiken County Public School District.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of 51 years, Ronnie, include two sons, Michael Golding (April), Stewart Golding (Jenny), all of Aiken; four grandchildren, Anthony and Mattie Mae Golding, Brandi Conrad, Adam Key; three sisters, Laura Kneece, Graniteville, Norma Jean Rippy, Summerville, SC, Evelyn Chipley (Tim), Warrenville.   In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Golding.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 21^st beginning at noon at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.

A memorial service will follow at 1 o’clock at the funeral home with her brother-in-law, David Golding officiating.
