RONALD KEITH ERGLE, 65, passed away Wednesday morning, May 8, 2024 in Piedmont Augusta Hospital with his loving family by his side following a short illness .
A lifelong resident of Aiken County, Ron was a son of the late Albert George Ergle and Tymexcina Beeco Ford. He grew up in Jackson and graduated from Aiken High School. He retired from SRS. Ron loved sports. He enjoyed golf and bowling and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Falcons.
Surviving are his children, Elizabeth Rinder (Josh), Aiken, Barrett Ergle (Cynthia), Graniteville; five grandchildren, Landon Ergle, Audrey Rinder, Kaden Ergle, Luke Rinder, Marissa Ergle; sister, Ginger Thomas, Aiken; brother, Coleman Ergle, Aiken and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Robinson and Pat Randolph.
A memorial service will be held Friday afternoon, May 10th at 3 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with The Rev. Bill Howard III officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
