Aiken, SC

Infant Roland Charles More, 6 months, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

Roland was the beloved son of Charles Lewis More II and Ashley Lynn Bedenbaugh More of Aiken, South Carolina.

Roland will always be a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was deeply loved by his family, and his big brothers doted on him. He adored them in return, always smiling when they were near. His joyful laugh will be profoundly missed. There will forever be a hole in the hearts of those who loved him. It was an honor to have Roland, even for the brief time he was with us.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Brendan Marshall More and Conor Wren More; maternal grandparents, Marie More Johnson, William Allen Johnson II, Laura Lynn Bedenbaugh, and Joel Lynn Bedenbaugh; paternal grandparents, Gary Charles More and Donna Beth Howard More; great-grandmothers, Linda Johnson and Paulette Branham; aunts, Amber Stuart, Katherine More, Elizabethe Drebenstedt, Alyssa Carter, Hayley Carter, Kennedy Newsome, Madyson Watson, and Melody Johnson; and uncles, Ian Stuart, William Johnson III, Timothy Newsome, Will Watson, and Bruce Drebenstedt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 138 Fairfield St. NE, with the Very Reverend Richard Wilson officiating. Final Rites and Commendations will take place at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
