Robert A. Caldwell, Jr. of Aiken, passed peacefully October 5, 2026, at his home. Robert was married to the late Joanne S. Caldwell for 66 years. He retired from the Department of Energy as a project manager nuclear engineer. Robert graduated from the University of Florida.
He is survived by his daughters June Caldwell Wilson (Mike), Lauree Caldwell, Leigh Anne Wilson (Steve), and five grandchildren, Cadie Wilson, Carliebeth Wilson, Peter Caldwell, Alexander Wilson, and Christopher Wilson.
The family would like to thank Cresent Hospice, Professional Case Management, Bob Raish, Cynthia Smith, and all his devoted caregivers.
