Reba Hall Temples, age 93, beloved widow of J. B. Temples, peacefully passed away on January 29, 2026.

Born in Kershaw County, South Carolina, Reba was a daughter of the late John Bruce and Annie Parker Hall. Her early life was spent in Edgefield, South Carolina, before she moved to Aiken, where she resided for the entirety of her adult life. Reba worked at Aiken Industries and also dedicated 27 years to Belk.

Reba had a deep passion for flowers and gardening, and her culinary skills, particularly her famous macaroni and cheese, were well-loved by family and friends. She treasured moments spent with her family, especially during gatherings at her home on May Royal Drive, people watching when the fair was in town. She and J. B. also enjoyed camping adventures.

A member of Millbrook Baptist Church for many years where she was active in Sunday School. She always enjoyed the visits from the church’s “Sonshine Ladies”. They always brought her great comfort and happiness. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at The Place at Shadow Oaks Assisted Living Home for their loving care for the past 7 years.

Reba leaves behind a loving family, including her three sons, Danny Temples (Kathy), Ken Temples (Marsha), and Ronnie Temples (Robin), all of Aiken. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Danica Kanches, Trent Temples (Stephanie), Joshua Temples (Nikki), Jamie Raynor (Brent), Karla Miele (Brian), Andrew Temples, Tyler Temples (Alexis), Brandi Johnson (Stuart), and A.J. Lee (Anna). Additionally, she is survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, Alana Kanches, Jocelyn Temples, Addison Temples, Hadley Temples, Hensley Temples, Suzannah Raynor, Samantha Raynor, Alex Johnson, Charley Johnson, Nina Lee, Jack Temples, Maggie Temples, Connor Nichols, Payton Nichols, along with her brothers, Byron Hall of North Augusta, Rex Hall (Jackie) of Gallatin, TN, and her sister, Carol Jean Nettles (Delon) of Johnston, SC. Reba was predeceased by a brother, Wendell Hall and a sister Peggy Satcher

Visitation will take place on Monday, February 2nd, at noon at Shellhouse Funeral Home on Hayne Avenue, followed by a funeral service at 1 o'clock, officiated by The Rev. Michael Timmerman. Interment will be in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Josh Temples, Trent Temples, Andrew Temples, Brent Raynor, Brian Miele, A.J. Lee, Tyler Temples, and Stuart Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be made to Hospice Services of South Carolina, 233 West Avenue North Augusta, SC 29841 or the Sonshine Ladies of Millbrook Baptist Church at 223 South Aiken Blvd., Aiken, SC 29803.
