Peter Russell Clark

AIKEN, SC - Peter Clark of Aiken, South Carolina died in early June 2022, at the PruittHealth- North Augusta South Carolina nursing facility. He had Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis {“Lou Gehrig’s disease”). Born in December 1960, he was preceded in death by his mother, Polly Clark, and his father, Paul Clark. Peter was married to Debi Doyle Clark and later divorced while living in Aiken; Debi is also deceased. He is survived by his brother Elliot Clark and his sister Betsy Clark, both of Aiken, and by his nephew Griffen Rosado, of Charlotte, North Carolina and his niece, Sophie Rosado of Chicago, Illinois.

Peter was born in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York and grew up in Glen Head, also on Long Island. He lived in Miami, Florida for many years, and then moved to Aiken along with his parents, who retired to Aiken to be closer to their son Elliot.

Peter loved music and played bass guitar and drums in a band with friends while living in Miami. He worked in Miami as a travel agent, as a cook in a bar & grill, and at a gas station. In Aiken he worked as a plumber’s helper.

The family are grateful for the care provided by PruittHealth- North Augusta and the PruittHealth- Hospice (Aiken) team.
