AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Paulette Marie Impagliazzo, 75, beloved wife and mother passed away on April 6, 2024. She was born on February 21, 1949, in Rhode Island.
Paulette's passion for knowledge led her to achieve a Master's degree from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. Her career in the medical research field spanned many years, where she made significant contributions that will forever be remembered.
Outside of her work, Paulette found joy in exploring the world. She had a deep love for travel and cherished the freedom of driving her red convertible Thunderbird.
Paulette is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Impagliazzo; children Lisa J Waters and Thomas S Betcher III from Rhode Island; stepson Michael Impagliazzo and daughter-in-law Heather Impagliazzo; as well as grandchildren Luca and Jacob of Harrison, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Estelle Bricusse and sister, Jeanne Cecile Simkins.
In addition to her immediate family, Paulette was adored by many cousins, nieces, and nephews who treasured her warm presence and caring nature.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on April 16, 2024, at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (new sanctuary) 138 Fairfield St., SE Aiken, SC 29801 with Fr. Orlando Serranno Ardila as celebrant.
Paulette will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy lives on through those who were fortunate enough to know her.
