PAULA KAY ZAVORKA, 56, beloved wife of Charles E. “Chuck” Zavorka, Jr., passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
A native of Laramie, WY, Paula was a daughter of Terrance “Joe” and Carol Carlson Bromley. She volunteered and also pursued her education to become a dental assistant while stationed with her husband at Fort Irwin, CA. She worked for the United States Army as a dental assistant at Fort Sam Houston and later achieved EFDA certification while at Fort Gordon, GA. In her spare time, Paula loved drawing and engaging in arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 35 years, Chuck; two sons, Casey Zavorka, North Augusta and Nolan Zavorka, Stuart, FL; her parents, Joe and Carol and her siblings - two brothers, David Bromley and Dan Bromley and three sisters, Beth Vaughn, Anne Jones and Karen Hildalgo, all of Wyoming.
A family gathering to celebrate Paula’s life will be held later in Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Michael J. Fox Foundation (michaeljfox.org) to support research for Parkinson's disease.
