Paul Edward Straight III

PAUL EDWARD STRAIGHT III, 65, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 in Aiken, SC with his loving family by his side.

A native of Washington, DC, Paul was a son of Frances Skillcorn Straight Bruce and the late Paul Edward Straight, Jr. He grew up in Manassas, VA and worked for many years at Dudley Martin Chevrolet. He relocated to Aiken in 2000. Paul was a painting contractor and retired from SRS.

Paul was an avid Steelers fan and he loved animals. He loved new experiences especially trying new restaurants and traveling.

Surviving are his mother, Frances of Aiken; his companion, Jill Callan; his daughter, Alexandra Bomze of Virginia; three grandchildren, Laela, Colton and Bradley; two sisters, Cindy Hileman (Hayward), Aiken, Rose Funk (Scott), Easton, MD; nieces and nephews, René Gray (Dewayne), Rochelle Vargas (José), Barry Funk (Michelle) and Nate Funk (Morgan). Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved Pug mix, Milo.

According to Paul’s wishes, no service is planned.
