Patricia Carlisle Heilig

Patricia Carlisle Heilig "Pat", 76, wife of Robert Heilig entered a peaceful death on June 26, 2026. Pat was born November 30, 1949, in Anderson, SC. She was a loving mother, sister, Aunt, Cousin and sister-in-law. She took great joy spending time with her family and friends. Being the only sister of 4 brothers, she ruled the roost!

The family moved to Aiken when she was 10 . She attended Aiken Day School, Aiken Elementary, Aiken Junior High and graduated from Aiken High School, class of 1968. She attended Georgia Southern. She married Robert, her high school sweetheart, on April 29, 1972. Their best times were at Edisto Beach where they shared many happy memories with family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Phyllis Carlisle, and brothers Jimmy, Bill and his wife Charlotte, Steveand his wife Ginger, nephew Mitchell, and niece Shannan.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert of 54 years and two children, Sarah and Rob, brother Michael Carlisle, sister-in-law Ellie Carlisle and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will welcome family and friends to celebrate Pat at a reception at Newberry Hall 1-3, on Tuesday, June 30.

Burial will be private.

Memorials may be made to St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church.

Shellhouse Funeral Home on Hayne Avenue is assisting the family.
