Patricia Marie Hannon

PATRICIA MARIE HANNON, 66, beloved wife of Daniel John Hannon, passed away Thursday evening, November 6, 2025, at her home in the Cedar Creek Community of Aiken, SC.

Born in Quincy, MA, Patricia was a daughter of the late Richard Mohamed and Florence Gardner Omar. She grew up in Braintree, MA and lived most of her life in Massachusetts until moving to Aiken, SC 13 years ago.

Patricia enjoyed working at Aiken Office Supply. She was active in the Cedar Creek Community participating in the Cedar Creek Book Club as well as water aerobics and chair yoga. She looked forward to the monthly neighborhood gatherings. She enjoyed reading and board games, especially Scrabble. Her love for nature and the outdoors found expression in her time spent outside by the pond with the fountain behind her home, the park and walking paths in her neighborhood and gardening in her yard.

Surviving is her husband of 47 years, Daniel; two children, Christine Hotaling (John), Billerica, MA and Daniel Hannon, Jr., Abington, MA; her granddaughter, Elisabeth Shimkus; two sisters, Teresa Omar and Cindy Hastings and two brothers, Rich Omar and Bill Omar. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra McCue.

A Celebration of Patricia’s Life will be held at a later date.
