Patricia Joan Mercier Foster

AIKEN, SC - Mrs. Patricia Joan "PJ" Mercier Foster, 83, beloved wife of Ralph Wayne Foster, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Born in Leominster, MA, PJ was the daughter of the late Ernest Anthony and Rita Scott Mercier. Professionally she held a number of administrative positions in Hi-Tech, Real Estate, and Banking. She owned and operated a company in Sarasota, FL. "Personally Assisting You". When she moved to Aiken she founded "PJ Arts" creating computer-generated art from photos. PJ liked classical music, theater, and opera. Outside interested activities included gardening, sailing, and golf. She enjoyed time on the golf course with Ralph.

In addition to her husband Ralph, she is survived by three stepchildren; David Foster, Wayne Foster, Cheryl Jansen; niece, Sherri (Paul) Clark and a nephew, Christopher Clark.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Mercier.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
