PAMELA RAE SCHILB, 73, beloved wife of Robert J. Schilb, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born in Bloomington, Illinois, Pam was the daughter of the late Joseph Cooper and Norma Fish Cooper Smith. Throughout most of her life, she called Kissimmee, Florida her home, where she dedicated herself to her work as a social worker for the State of Florida. In 2013, she relocated to Aiken, South Carolina, where she continued her purpose-driven career as a social worker for the State of South Carolina.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; stepsons, H. Jackson Schilb of Aiken and Grant Schilb of Porter, Texas; stepdaughter Liz Schilb of Richmond, Virginia; and niece, Sue Ann Glessing. She also leaves behind two dear friends, Bonnie Cook of Greenville, South Carolina, and Alberta Brooks of Kissimmee, Florida.

The family will hold a private service to remember and celebrate her life at a later date.
