Opal Mullins Wright

AIKEN, SC – OPAL MULLINS WRIGHT, 96, beloved wife of the late Bruce W. Wright, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Pepper Hill Nursing Center.

A native of Jane, VA, Opal was a daughter of the late General M. and Lillie Epling Mullins. She lived in Aiken since 1953 and was a former dental assistant. She was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church where she formerly taught Sunday School.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Jean Moler (Robert), Aiken; two sons, Ronald Bruce Wright (Sandy), Las Vegas, NV, Michael William Wright (Patti), Florence, SC; grandchildren, John Wright (Crystal), Lee Wright (Katie), Andrea Cornelison, Megan Greenwald (Brian), Bruce Hughey (Kristen), Chad Hughey, Staci Funk (Jay), Katie Moler (Blake Murphy), Michael Moler; sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruby Sparks (Bob), Pikeville, KY.

The family will receive friends Friday morning, April 6^th beginning at 10 o’clock at South Aiken Presbyterian Church. The funeral will follow at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
