Marvin James Donaldson, Sr.

Aiken – Mr. Marvin James Donaldson, Sr., 90, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023. Mr. Donaldson was born in Sheffield, IA, son of the late James Stanley and Frieda Walbaum Donaldson. He was a meat cutter for Hy-Vee Foods. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Kay Donaldson, Aiken; sons, Marvin J. Donaldson, Jr., Aiken, and Kevin Brian (LuDene) Donaldson, Aiken; grandchildren, Natalie Shipley, Angela (Mike) Adams, and Clint (Stephanie) Donaldson; and great grandchildren, Makayla Shipley, Lauren Shipley, Caleb Donaldson, and Joshua Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Audrey Darlene Harlan Donaldson; and a sister, Jane Thomas. A private visitation and service for both Marvin and Audrey will be held in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Danny Wilson officiating.
