Marjorie Helen DeLorme

AIKEN, SC – Marion Helen DeLorne, 99, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Shellhouse Funeral Home, 924 Hayne Ave., Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Born in Maywood, NJ, Mrs. DeLorne was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Cazin. She and her late husband, Henry George DeLorne, made Aiken their home in 1982. Mrs. DeLorne worked in banking for most of her life and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the church choir. Her hobbies included sewing and baking.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. DeLorne was preceded in death by her siblings, Dorothy Cahill, Gladys Buesing, and William Cazin.

She is survived by her dear friends: Wanda and Ed Moore, Dotty and Hugh Vuick, and members of Grace Presbyterian Church.

The family would like to thank her caretakers, Danielle Eason, Jennifer Barton, Tonya Eason, Deborah Walker, Britney Brown, Christy Baxley for their loving care and support.
