Marjorie Jean Coldiron

AIKEN, SC – Marjorie Jean Coldiron, 70, beloved wife of Robert Duane Coldiron, passed away on September 6, 2026.

Born in Marion, Ohio, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Leland and June Ruth Myers. She began her career as a mechanical drafter but ultimately followed her true passion and opened her own quilting business. Her creativity and love of quilting brought her great joy throughout the years.

Marjorie also had a lifelong love of cats. She and her husband, Robert, made Aiken their home in 1999 and enjoyed many years together in the community they loved.

In addition to her husband, Marjorie is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Coldiron and Rebecca Coldiron, both of Irmo, SC, and her sister, Susan Lee Myers of Marion, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas Orville Myers.

Marjorie will be remembered for her creativity, her love of quilting and cats, and, most of all, the love she shared with her husband, daughters, family, and friends.

A reception to celebrate Marjorie’s life will be held at Shellhouse Funeral Home, 924 Hayne Ave., from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2026.
