Marjorie Davis Alexander

AIKEN – Mrs. Marjorie Davis Alexander, 91, died Sunday, November 26, 2017. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel.  Mrs. Alexander was born in Elberton, GA, a daughter of the late Howard and Louise Moore Davis.  She was a dedicated mother and homemaker, and member of Memorial Baptist Church in Aiken for 63 years. Survivors include a daughter, Kay A. (Don E.) Murphree, North Augusta, SC; a son, Kenneth (Donna) Alexander, North Augusta, SC; grandchildren, Kenneth Alexander, Jr., Dr. Denise (Jeffrey) Rose, Esq., Melissa Simmons, the late Sonya Rhymann, Ryan L. (Abby C.) Murphree; great grandchildren, Brooke Alexander, Tyler Holhouser, Preston Simmons, Arden Simmons; great great grandchildren, Madison and Laythan Herndon; brother, Jimmy Gorden Davis; a sister, Betty Simpson.
