Manuel "Manny" Armando Soto

MANUEL “MANNY” ARMANDO SOTO, 66, beloved husband of Renee Pulles, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, December 12, 2021.

A native of Havana Cuba, Manny was a son of the late Jose Ramon Soto and Josefa Lamelas Soto.  He grew up and lived in Miami, FL until moving to Clemmons, NC in 1996.  He moved to Aiken in 2006 and went to work at the Savannah River Site.  He was currently working in IT for SRNS.  Manny was a faithful man of God, a loving husband and a great father.  He was a tenth degree blackbelt and was a volunteer with Mike Hess Martial Arts.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Renee; two sons, Joshua Armando Soto and Gabriel Adam Soto, both of Aiken; his future first grandchild, Penelope; a half brother, Alberto Ortiz, Miami; sister, Raquel Suarez Soto, Miami and many nieces nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Gabrielle Renee Soto.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon, December 14^th from 4 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be in Miami, FL under the direction of Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association (heart.org).
