Lyndia Faye Hale

WINDSOR, SC - Ms. Lyndia Faye Hale, 72, passed away peacefully Friday, September 3, 2021 at her residence. Born in Augusta, GA, Ms. Hale was a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel Swearingen Johnston. She spent her career working in retail sales, retiring from Belk Department Store. Ms. Hale loved watching sports and loved to fish. She will be sorely missed by those that knew her. She is survived by her five sisters, Ellie Motes, Millen, GA, Shirley Luke, North Augusta, SC, Carol Dial, Warrenville, SC, Darlene Waddell, Warrenville, Bobbie Jo Kasawich, Belvedere, SC; two cousins, Jennie Adams, Shara Morgan; two special friends, Jo Ann Noel, Ginger Bush and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hale was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Sue Greene. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Lydia Project, 1369 Interstate Parkway, Augusta, GA 30909.
