Luann Stokes Flanagan

AIKEN, SC - Luann (Stokes) Flanagan, 69, passed away on the 28th of June 2025.

She was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia, and grew up in Beaufort, South Carolina. Luann attended Beaufort High School. After graduation, she entered the workforce, finally settling at Trantech Radiator Products in Edgefield, South Carolina, where she worked as a welder for 20 years.

Luann was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Wilma Stokes (Beaufort, SC), as well as her two brothers, Lane Stokes (Murfreesboro, TN and Lannie Stokes (Beaufort, SC). She is survived by: Her husband of thirty years David Flanagan; stepson, Jesse Dupree (Aiken, SC), three brothers- Leland Stokes (Radcliff, KY), Leonard Stokes (Beaufort, SC), and Leo Stokes; one sister- Lisa Bush (Bluffton, SC) as well as numerous nieces and nephews that she maintained close relationships with; and her delightful, ever loving and wonderful mother in-law Angie Flanagan.

Luann’s love for family and friends was a true blessing. She will be with us always, for we all have loved her. Thank you for loving us.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA - American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. In Luann’s memory, please give your loved ones a hug and let them know how much they mean to you.

The family will be celebrating Luann’s life in a private ceremony. Those who touch our lives will remain in our memory forever. Luann, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure.
