Lorraine MacLean Teese

AIKEN, SC – LORRAINE MacLEAN TEESE, 93, widow of Philip Alanson Teese, died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

A native of Newark, NJ, Lorraine was a daughter of the late Nicholas Michael and Rose Marie Rank MacLean.  She earned her BS from New Jersey State Teachers College and her MA from Columbia University.  She was retired from New Jersey Public Schools as a school psychologist.  She moved to Aiken in 2003 from Pinehurst, NC.

Survivors include two children, Gregory D. Teese (Caroline), Aiken, Martha Moir (John Russell II), Simpsonville, SC; six grandchildren, Sarah, Gastonia, NC, Trey, Fayetteville, NC, Robert, William, Jeffrey and Rebekah, all of Simpsonville, SC; a sister, Loretta Pierson, Corvallis, OR.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, morning, June 14^th at 11 o’clock at South Aiken Presbyterian Church with The Rev. John Muse officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
