Lora Hartwell Arthur

AIKEN, SC - LORA HARTWELL ARTHUR, 53, beloved wife of Stevan D. Arthur, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in South Charleston, WV, Lora was a daughter Mary Inghram Hartwell and the late David Glenn Hartwell. She grew up in Belle, WV and had a degree in fashion merchandising. Lora lived in Aiken since 1988.  She was a former employee of Delta Airlines at Bush Field in Augusta, and later became a flight attendant flying out of Atlanta.  She was a homemaker. Survivors, in addition to her husband Stevan, include her son, Corey A. Arthur, Aiken; step-daughter, Andrea Marie Chappell (Tim), Pickens, SC, her mother, Mary Hartwell, Belle, WV; brother, Glenn Hartwell (Michelle), Parker, CO. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 10 AM at the funeral home.
