AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Lois Kathryn Brown Hatcher, 78, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Chris Masters officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be C.J. Canty, James Setters, Jeremy Pittman, Donald Hatcher, Kevin Hatcher, Matt Lindler and Jonathan Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessica Setters, Jamie Canty Pittman, Heath Crutchfield, Scotty Griffin, Clay Fulmer, Hank Fulmer, Greg Fulmer, Lee Benton and Tracy Brown. Being a lifelong resident of Aiken, Mrs. Hatcher was a daughter of the late Harold Haskell and Rosalyn Grice Brown. She worked as a claims clerk for Rose’s Department Store. Mrs. Hatcher was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, James Hatcher, two daughters; Wendy (Ronnie) Hill, Sylvania, GA, Roben (Tim) Wolf, Aiken, three grandchildren; C.J. (Ashton) Canty, Jessica (James) Setters, Jamie (Jeremy) Pittman, Timmy Wolf, eight great grandchildren; Skylar Canty, James Setters II, Lily Canty, Kathryn Sauls, Lindsay Sauls, Kaci Setters, Madyson Canty, Walker Pittman and a brother, Leroy (Vickie) Brown of Aiken. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mildred Padgett, Patsy Attnip, Judy Grant, Thomas Brown and Gloria Perkins. Memorials may be directed to Shiloh Baptist Church, 3925 Shiloh Church Rd, Aiken, SC 29805.
