Aiken – Laura Lea Freeman, 67, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024.
Lea was born in Augusta, GA, a daughter of the late Oliver Garland and Lou Ellen Land Freeman. She was a lifelong resident of Aiken, was a member of Aiken’s First Baptist Church, and worked for Tri-Development Center of Aiken County.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Ann Freeman (Charles) Smith, Nashville, TN; nephews, Brandon and Blake Smith. She was preceded in death by a brother, Oliver G. Freeman, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2024, in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be directed to Tri-Development Center of Aiken County, 1016 Vaucluse Rd., Aiken, SC 29801.
