Kenneth Steven Robinson

We are sad to announce the passing of Kenneth Steven Robinson, Aiken, South Carolina.  He passed at the age of 81 on August 25, 2023.  Ken passed away after a long battle with Interstitial Lung Disease. 

Ken was raised in Illinois and, after serving in the United States Air Force, lived in Indiana, Michigan, California, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  He worked most of his career for Westinghouse/Schindler Elevator Corporation.   Ken is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-seven years, Amy, daughter Sharilyn Davis and her family in Noblesville, IN, son Brent Robinson in Pendleton, IN, Amy’s daughter Kimberly Baker and her family in Wesley Chapel, FL, Amy’s son Nathan Crosby and his family in Fairfield, OH, and Ken’s sister, Cheryl Howell, in Glen Carbon, IL.

Ken loved his wife and family, and enjoyed traveling, both with them, and to see them.  He also loved the game of golf, and traveling to play golf with the many friends he made through the game he loved.  Many of those friendships spanned decades and were still strong.  He will be missed by many. 

Per Ken’s request, there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, Ken requested you make donations to the American Lung Association or the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
