Kenneth Allen Bernacchi

KENNETH ALLEN BERNACCHI, 73, husband of the late JoAnne Cole Bernacchi, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his residence.

A native of La Porte, IN, Ken was a son of the late Harold Corato Bernacchi and Donna Jean Hanna Bernacchi.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving as aircraft mechanic in the 1^st Brigade in Vietnam.  He graduated from Perdue University and was a retired aircraft mechanic.  He formerly worked for Garrett Aviation at Bush Field in Augusta.  Ken was an antique car collector. He was a member of the Aiken Model A Club and enjoyed attending the meetings, parades and tours.  He and his blue Model A Deluxe Coupe have been in many Aiken parades over the years.  He was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are his son, Cory Bernacchi, Aiken and Beaufort, SC; daughter, Kari Sauer (Dane), Indianapolis, IN; grandsons, Hank and Calvin Sauer; brothers, Michael Bernacchi (Cheryl), La Porte, IN, Tony Bernacchi, La Porte, IN, Johnny Bernacchi, Rolling Prairie, IN; a sister, Gennie Heister, NC.

A Celebration of Ken’s Life will be held at a date and time to be announced.
