AIKEN, SC – KATHERINE G. WHITTLE, 91, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at her residence.
A native and life-long resident of Aiken County, Katherine was a daughter of the late Robert W. and Pearl Stone Gunter. She retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Batesburg.
Surviving are her daughter, Judy Whittle, Windsor and sister, Lilly Boyd (Marion), Windsor; niece, Susan W. (Bruce) Hood; nephews, Ryan A. Gunter, Robert M. (Keri) Williamson; a great-nephew, Anthony Williamson who was more like a grandson and numerous other great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William A. Gunter and Robert W. Gunter, Jr.
A graveside service will be held Friday morning, June 25th at 11 o’clock in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
