Kaethe Blendinger Karpinski

AIKEN, SC - KAETHE B. KARPINSKI, 82, beloved wife of Ronald James Karpinski, passed away peacefully at her residence, Sunday, April 23, 2017.      A native of Ansbach, Germany, Kaethe met her husband while he was in the military.  Being a military wife, she lived all over the world before moving to Aiken in 1985 from Neptune, NJ.      She is survived by her husband, Ronald James Karpinski, Aiken; two daughters, Wanda Garrett (Billy) Wagener, SC, Sandra Reddington (Frank) Sarasota, FL; son-in-law Edward Kilgus of Williston; grandchildren, Leslie Fleming and Dominick DeDonno, step-grandchildren, Billy Garrett, Brian Garrett; a number of step great grandchildren and a step-great great grandchild.      She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Kilgus and son, Ronald S. Karpinski.      The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon, April 28th at 2 o’clock from the graveside in Southlawn Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Henry L.
