JULIE ANN REVELLE, 60, beloved wife of David A. Revelle, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 4, 2026.

Born in Marion, Illinois, Julie was the daughter of Raymond and Annette Abney Harris. She spent her formative years in southern Illinois, where she dedicated herself to education and personal growth. Julie graduated with a bachelor's degree from Purdue University and later earned her master's in education administration from The University of South Carolina.

Julie’s dedication to education was a guiding light throughout her remarkable career in Aiken County. As an English Language Arts teacher at Kennedy Middle School, she ignited a love for learning in her students. Her trajectory continued with grace as she embraced roles of increasing responsibility—first serving as Assistant Principal at North Aiken Elementary School, and later as Principal of Redcliffe Elementary School. In 2018, Julie joined the district’s Executive Leadership Team as an Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools, where her compassionate leadership supported countless principals and fostered an enriching environment for elementary education across the district.

Recognized for her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to her students, Julie was more than an educator; she was a champion for those she served and an inspiration to many. Her pride for her family was evident in all she did, and she wore her role as a devoted wife and mother like a badge of honor.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, David; her daughter, Beth Snider (Caleb) of Nashville, TN; her treasured grandchildren, Finley, Ray, and Blair Snider; her parents, Raymond and Annette Harris of Marion, IL; her brother, Randall Harris of San Diego, CA; and her sister, Shanna Long (Jereme) of Johnston City, IL.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, March 8th beginning at 2 o’clock at Millbrook Baptist Church. The service will follow at 3 o’clock with The Rev. Gary Farina officiating. The service will be livestreamed at https://iframe.dacast.com/b/156599/c/585055 .

In lieu of flowers, the family request that anyone wishing to contribute in Julie’s honor make payment to Aiken County Public schools. Payment can be sent to 1000 Brookhaven Dr, Aiken, South Carolina, 29803 and to the attention of Karen Hamm. The family wishes for any funds received to be used to provide instructional supplies for elementary schools throughout the district.
