With family by her side, Julianne Boyle passed away peacefully on May 21st, 2026, after a courageous journey. She was born on March 29th, 1974, at Rome Hospital in New York to Doreen Wolanin Boyle.

Julianne attended Oriskany Central Schools. She graduated high school there in 1992. Afterwards she attended MVCC, moved to Florida and worked at Wilt Chaberlains. Julianne then proudly entered and served in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1996 with dedication and honor, then following her service went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. Finally, Julianne completed her Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Administration. She worked as a Catering Manager in South Florida.

On June 29th of 2007, Julianne met her husband, Jason Appignani and were married on September 15th 2007. Together they built a beautiful life and family, welcoming two cherished children, Lucca and Sloan Appignani, who were and are truly the center of her world. Julianne also lovingly embraced her role as mother to her son, Devan Appignani.

Julianne is survived by her mother and step-father, Doreen and Frank DeCristo, her loving husband, Jason Appignani, her beloved children, Lucca, Sloan and Devan, as well as her brother Ryan Boyle, and sisters Melanie Toole and Emmeline DeCristo-Smith. Julianne is pre-deceased by grandparents Adolf and Helen Duda. Julianne also leaves behind many other cherished family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Throughout her life, Julianne shared numerous close and lasting friendships from many ventures around the country that remained steadfast throughout the years. Julianne formed many lifelong friendships and was adored by these friends and classmates for her kind heart, vibrant spirit and unforgettable personality.

Known for her bright personality, bold jewelry, cooking skills and colorful approach to life, Julianne had a way of lighting up every room she entered. She brought laughter, warmth and a positive energy to those around her and her style, strength and love for her family and friends made her truly unforgettable.

A Celebration of Julianne’s Life will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2026, with Reverend Jason Hammersley officiating, and a visitation will follow until 5:00 PM at the funeral home. A live stream of the service will be on the website for those who cannot be there.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be and may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (www.hdsa.org).
