AIKEN, SC – JOSUE GARCIA-IRIZARRY, 63, beloved husband of Evelyn Velazquez, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at AU Medical Center, Augusta, GA.
A native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, Josue was a son of the late Antonio Garcia and Josefina Irizarry. He lived in Aiken since 1996 and worked as an I.T. Analyst for C & K Switches in Newton, MA. He was devoted to his family, was a foodie and loved traveling.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Evelyn, include two sons, Josue Garcia (Alisha), Graniteville, SC, Gabriel Garcia, Aiken; a daughter, Griselle Garcia (Brent Vaughn), Evansville, IN; four grandchildren, Kayshla VanBrocklin, Darren Garcia, Nathan Garcia, Kiara Brown.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22nd at Noon at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
