Joseph Coleman Brunson, Jr.

WALTERBORO, SC - JOSEPH COLEMAN BRUNSON, JR., 72, of Walterboro, SC, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Charlotte, NC. A native of Winston Salem, NC, Joe was a son of the late Joseph Coleman and Mary Nell Ferebee Brunson, Sr. He grew up in Columbia, SC and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a service engineer with Didde Graphics. He had a great love for photography. Survivors include his daughter, Brandy Brunson Dyches (Mike Semko), Aiken, SC; step-son, Sean Powers (Davina), Clearwater, SC; four grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Dyches, Farrah Elaine Dyches, Eloise Rose Semko, Ethan Ridge Powers; two sisters, Mary Cole (Clarence), Florida, Stephanie Hauser (Derrick), North Carolina; a brother, Michael Brunson (Catherine), Walterboro, SC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Brunson. A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, November 19th at 1 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with his brother-in-law, Dave Golding officiating.
