AIKEN, SC – JOHNNIE MAE THOMAS, 75, widow of Turby F. “Boots” Thomas, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence.
A native of Leighton, AL, Johnnie was a daughter of the late Ulysses and Lucille McCormack Cox. She was a Christian and a homemaker and had lived in Aiken since 1987.
Surviving are her son, Turby F. “Zack” Thomas III, Aiken; two daughters, Tina Elizabeth Walker, Blackville, SC, Sherry Lee Herrick, Raleigh, NC; two grandchildren, Amanda Christina Gibson, John Walker, Jr., two brothers, Ronnie Cox and Jack Cox, both of Bath, SC.
A graveside service will be Monday morning, November 29th at 11 o’clock in Southlawn Cemetery with The Rev. Bill Howard III officiating.
