Joann Brock Glass

Joann Brock Glass, 88, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Joann was born in Atlanta, GA, daughter of the late Joe and Leah Gay Brock. She was the former co-franchisee of the first McDonald's in Aiken, worked at Morrison Knudsen at SRS, co-owned The Needle Shop, was a former receptionist for DHEC, former board member of Tri-Development of Aiken County, member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and member of St. Johns Methodist Church.

Joann is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Sherald) Rodgers, Ward, SC; sons, Doug (Ginger) Glass, Aiken, David (Trish) Glass,Evans, GA, Scott (Lisa) Glass, Aiken; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Glass, and brothers, Kenneth and Dennis Brock.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 26, 2026, at St. Johns Methodist Church with the Reverend Grayson “Butch” Blackwell officiating. A reception will follow in Ward Hall. Private interment will be held in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
