Jerry Alan Harding

AIKEN, SC – JERRY ALAN HARDING, 76, beloved husband of Elizabeth Hatcher Harding, died Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Bayard, IA, Jerry was a son of the late Clarence Frederick and Arlyne Nelson Harding. He lived most his life in Aiken and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He loved NASCAR and football. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Elizabeth, include three children, Susan Elizabeth Wheeler, New Orleans, LA, Jeffrey Alan Harding (Diane Sawyer) Aiken, Jacob Heyward Harding, Aiken; five grandchildren, Katria Bryant (Jason), Amanda Rae Wheeler, Jacob Scott Harding, Jesse Harding, Jodie Harvey; two great-grandchildren, MaKayla and Hunter Bryant; a sister, Judy Sorensen, Tucson, AZ. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, July 1st from 4 until 6 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral will be private.
