Jerrold George Thompson, 96, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Aiken, South Carolina.
Jerrold was born on July 21, 1921, to Theodore and Gieslea Thompson in Waukesha, WI. He served in the United States Air Force and worked as a petroleum geologist.
Jerrold is survived by his sons, J. P. (Beverly) Thompson of Aiken and J. T. Thompson of Key West. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Thompson.
Private services will be held at a later date.
