AIKEN, SC - Jean S. Smith, 93, passed away in her home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 after being in hospice for five months.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Smith, three brothers, Marion, Bob, and Bill, and her sister, Mildred. She is survived by her brother, Jessie (Debbie), 10 nieces/nephews, and numerous great-nieces/nephews.
She called Aiken home for over 25 years, after living in Chicago and Los Angeles. She also had may dear friends in the Hitchcock Heights condos whom she loved and enjoyed spending time with. She had a very fulfilling life and was loved by many people, especially her family.
A private gathering to celebrate Jean's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made in Jean's name may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
