AIKEN, SC – JAMES DWIGHT TODD, 77, beloved husband of Cordine Coleman Todd, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Oak Ridge, TN, James was a son of the late Elmer Dwight and Millie Wheeler Todd. He lived most of his life in Aiken and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. James was an avid golfer and he loved to hunt and fish. In his younger days he was active with Dixie Youth Baseball as a coach and umpire.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of 59 years, Cordine, include his daughter, Sherry Todd Minenna (Carl), his son, Russell Dwight Todd (Marcia Ewing), all of Aiken; four grandchildren, Russell, Cody, Angel, Ashley; three great-grandchildren, Macie, Willow and Collier; and his beloved dog Dottie.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon, October 27th at 1 o’clock cryptside in the Southlawn Cemetery Mausoleum with The Rev. Mike McAlpin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
