AIKEN - Mr. James Edward Nixon, 86, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018.James was born in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Cecil Clay and Wilda Wilson Nixon. He had been a resident of Aiken since 1995, and was a former sales agent for the iron and steel industry.He is survived by his children, Beth Kramer and Mark Nixon; six grandchildren; and step daughter, Elisabeth Gascoigne.. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Gascoigne Morris Nixon, and a son, Keith Nixon.Funeral services will be private.SHELLHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 924 HAYNE AVE., AIKEN, SC
